HAMILTON - Mary K. Meleg, 73, of Groveville, passed away on Oct. 29, 2012, at home, surrounded by loved ones. |
Born in Trenton, she leaves a legacy of love, values and traditions that will carry on in the hearts of those she loved. She enjoyed cooking, preparing for the holidays and other family celebrations, and vacationing and spending Easter at the Jersey Shore. She especially liked to be there for those in need and was always ready to lend a helping hand. She lived for her grandchildren, who brought her great joy, and spending time with her dog, Akira. She was employed by Dura Bond, and the State Police for many years. She was also a longtime member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church.
She was the devoted mother of Stephen J. Meleg III and his wife Candace J. Meleg; loving grandmother of Rachel Marie Meleg and Peter Calisti, Casie Lynn Meleg, Michaela Nicole Meleg, Stephen J. Meleg IV; and great-grandmother of Brooklynn Rose Floyd. She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen J. Meleg Jr. and her son, Michael J. Meleg.
Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, from 1 to 3 p.m. A "Time of Remembrance" will follow at 3 p.m. at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St., Trenton, NJ 08610. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Huber-Moore Funeral Home, Bordentown.
