Micheal A. Biase HAMILTON - Michael A. Biase, 60, of Hamilton, and Belleville, NJ, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 23, 2014 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Newark, NJ and raised in Bloomfield, NJ, Michael resided most of his life in Belleville, before moving to Hamilton within recent months. He was a corrections officer for the Essex County Department of Corrections, and the owner/operator of Father and Sons Landscaping, serving Essex County for many years. Mike was a graduate of Bloomfield High School, class of 1971, and Essex County Community College. He was a member of the F&AM - Easton Lodge # 152, and he donated to many charities that touched his heart. Michael was an avid coin collector and loved football, especially his UCLA Bruins, and the New York Giants. Son of the late Michael Angelo and Antoinette Constance Alvino Biase, brother of the late Robert Biase, and son-in-law of the late Constance Caltagirone, he is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Tommasina Caltagirone Biase of Hamilton; his three children whom he cherished, Michael Angelo Biase (Valerie) of Belleville, NJ; Antoinette C. Carbone and husband Mario of Belleville; Rose Emma Biase (Matt) of Belleville; one grandson, who melted his heart, Michael Angelo Biase Jr., one brother, Lawrence J. Biase (Michele) of Belleville; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Rose Marie Biase of Belleville; Patricia and Reni Fernandez of Sayerville, NJ; Tina Hamden of Belleville; his father-in-law, John A. Caltagirone of Yardville; one brother-in-law, Carmen J. Caltagirone (Maria) ; Three sisters-in-law Antonia Haney (Ralph); and Anna Papero (Pat); Karen Biase of Florida; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, whom he adored, especially Larry Biase, and many dear friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 63 Franklin St.,and corner of Lake St., Belleville, NJ 07109. The family will receive visitors on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until time of mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Biase Scholarship Fund, C/O Fulton Bank of NJ, 2460 Whitehorse - Hamilton Sq. Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08690. Arrangements are by the M.
