Nerena Margaret (Sensi) Santitoro Obituary
HAMILTON - Nerena Margaret (Sensi) Santitoro, 86, of Hamilton, entered into God's care Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Trenton, with her loving family by her side.
Born in Terni, Italy, she and her family immigrated to the United States when she was two years old. She settled in the Chambersburg section of Trenton where she resided over 70 years prior to moving to Hamilton where she had resided for the past 10 years. Marge, as she was affectionately known by her family and friends, was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish and a former member of St. Joachim's Senior Citizens Club.
Predeceased by her parents, Giocondo and Cesira (Di Pietro) Sensi, her two brothers, Deo "Joseph" Sensi and wife Florence, Ilvano "Al" Sensi and wife Margaret, and her loving husband of 36 years, Jerry A. Santitoro, she is survived by her two children, Geraldine Roselle and husband Gary and Robert Santitoro and wife Lucille; two grandchildren, Rachel and Robert Santitoro; step- grandson, Gary Roselle Jr. and wife Kimberly; her brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Anthony and Rose Santitoro and Norma Santitore; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her special friends at Gershen Apartments.
The funeral will be held at 8:15 a.m. Friday, May 16, from D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619. Please visit www.derricofuneralhome.com. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Angels Parish-St. Joachim's Church, 22-56 Butler St., Trenton, NJ 08611. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum, Hamilton. Calling hours will be Thursday, May 15, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
