Obituary Condolences

Nicholas M. Pallante EWING - Nicholas M. Palante, 92, of Ewing, passed away Monday, September 2, 2013 at the Compassionate Care Hospice Unit at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton with his loving family at his side. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Mr. Pallante had resided in the Ewing area for the past 49 years. Nicholas was a chef for his entire life and worked at various facilities throughout his lifetime. He was an avid bowler who frequently bowled a 300, and was a Philadelphia Phillies fan. Nicholas was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps who served during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. He was a devoted and loving husband. Son of the late Michael and Philomena Pallante; brother of the late Mildred Pallante, Mary Lucidi, Rose Caroluzzi, Paul, Joseph and John Pallante; brother-in-law of the late Michael Sebasto and Martha (Sebasto) Lester; he is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Mary (Sebasto) Pallante; his God daughter, Angela Sebasto; four brothers-in-law, Joseph and wife Lillian Sebasto, Anthony and Dominic Sebasto, and Nicholas Sebasto, Jr.; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, and great great nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 10 am at St. James R.C. Church, 29 East Paul Ave., Trenton, NJ. Burial will follow at Ewing Cemetery, 78 Scotch Rd., Ewing, NJ. Family and friends may call on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Marine Corps League, Trenton Detachment #207, 547 Shiller Ave., Trenton, NJ 08610 Wounded Warriors Fund in memory of Nicholas Pallante.
