Omar Hightower Obituary
Born in Trenton, N.J., Omar was educated in the Trenton public school system and attended Mercer County Community College. He was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing baseball in his spare time.
Omar was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Deloris Brown and Larry James Hightower. He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Tyra L. Hightower; his father, Joseph Robinson, Jr.; two children, Ayanna K. Hightower and Omar K. Hightower, Jr.; his fiancée, Erica E. Lawson; two brothers, Deshawn Clark and Kyree Robinson; an uncle, Kevin A. Hightower; two special great-aunts, Joann Berry and Jewel Holmes; paternal grandparents, Doris and Joseph Robinson, Sr.; a special cousin, Kevin J. Barnes and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, at Shiloh Baptist Church, 340 Rev. S. Howard Woodson Way, Trenton, N.J. Calling hours will be from 9 a.m. until time of services at the church. Interment Ewing Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home, Trenton, N.J.

I am just in total disbelief that my friend is gone! We lost contact but he knew I loved him and vice versa. I just cannot believe this and during my recent visit to NJ last month/beginning of the month-it was heavy in my mind to find O so that we could reconnect. I am just hurt but above all...God is still an awesome God! RIP "O"
