Pastor Doris Flemming, 79, of Hamilton died Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis.
Born in Jacksonville, FL, Mrs. Flemming was educated in the Duval County School System. She and her late sister owned and operated a cleaning business. Mrs. Flemming was the pastor of The Evangelistic Fellowship House of Prayer, Inc., which she founded with her late husband in 1964.
Predeceased by her husband, Rev. Willie B. Flemming, Sr., her parents, Rev. Frank D. Davis and Mother Annie Lou Davis, and one sister, Evangelist Carrie Bell Creech. She is survived by two sons; Willie B. Flemming, Jr.; and Jeffrey D. Flemming (and his friend, Annie Baker); three daughters; Beverly A. Polke; Debra M. West; all of Trenton and Sharon R. Ortiz (Ahmed M. Abdelmaguid); of Hamilton Township; one brother; Moses Davis; of Jacksonville, FL; one sister; Louis Morton; grandchildren; Takiah; Doesha; Ashton; Willie ("PW"); Ean; Kalisha; Yaasmeen; A'Dale; Monzeil; Ashanti; Reginald, Jr.; great-grandchildren; Ashombre'; Azure; EzraVon; and Mia; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral Services will be Saturday (June 8) at 10 a.m. at Grace Cathedral Fellowship Ministries 1217 Calhoun Street Trenton. Entombment will be in Greenwood Mausoleum. Calling hours will be Saturday from 9-10 a.m. at the church.
