LAKE HOWARD HEIGHTS, Fla. - Roberta M. "Bobbie" Sinwich Pasun, 84, passed away on November 11, 2012 in Lake Howard Heights, Fla. from cancer. She was a loving mother, fun grandmother, great-grandmother, "Babka", treasured aunt, and dear friend.|
Born in Trenton, N.J., on March 27, 1928 she lived her entire life before moving to Winter Haven, Fla. in July 2011 and then to the Lake Howard Heights Senior Living Community in December 2011. Roberta graduated from Trenton High School in 1946. As a senior in high school, Roberta started working for the Broad Street Bank in Trenton. Her career in banking spanned a total of 39 years culminating with her retirement in 1985 as the assistant vice- president of operations for the Princeton Bank and Trust Company in Princeton.
Roberta was a former member and treasurer of the National Association of Banking Women. She was a member of St. Hedwig Church and St Joseph's Church in Winter Haven, Fla. She was very active in social activities at Lake Howard Heights, especially bingo games. She enjoyed the community feeling and caring staff and residents at Lake Howard Heights.
Daughter of the late Adam and Anna Brozowski Sinwich, mother of the late Linda Alloway, and wife of the late Joseph J. Pasun, Roberta is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Joseph Markulec and Carol and Gary M. Bennet all of Winter Haven, FLa., two sons and a daughter-in-law Joseph R. Pasun and Michael J. and Ruth Pasun all of Hamilton, all of who feel her loss deeply. Roberta treasured her grandchildren, David Pasun, Christine and Jason Chavoya, Tina Pasun, Christi Lea Bennett, Michael V. Pasun, Steven Markulec, Jonathan Benett, Stephanie Stein and Christopher Pasun. Also surviving are three great-grandchildren, and a special friend Carol Furda, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 9 AM from the Meloni Memorial Home, 1028 N. Olden Ave., Trenton, followed by a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Hedwig R.C. Church. Interment will be in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 6 until 8:00 PM at the Meloni Memorial Home.
