MANAHAWKIN - Roger Charles Steward, 58, of Manahawkin, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at
Southern Ocean County Hospital after a brief illness.
Roger was a longtime resident of Yardville. He attended Steinert High School and later worked at Anchor Thread company in Groveville before moving to the shore area. Roger was an avid NASCAR fan, and had met some of the drivers in the past years.
Predeceased by his parents LeRoy (Roy) Steward and Iris Gaskill Steward, he is survived by his brother, Ronnie and sister-in-law Janice Steward, of Hamilton. Cremation and burial services will be private for the family.
Arrangements are by Buklad Memorial Home.
