Obituary Condolences

Rose Luft, 88, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at home in the company of her loving family on Wednesday, December 19, 2012.
Born in Trenton, Rose has been a lifelong area resident. She was employed at St. Francis Hospital of Trenton for 18 years. Rose loved to swim and was an avid card player and a lifelong member of several "card clubs". She was a member and Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church of Hamilton, the Hamilton H.E.L.P Senior Citizens Group, and the Hamilton Senior Center. She was Nana to her ten grandchildren who were the center of her life. She never missed an activity or event in which her grandchildren participated.
Mrs. Luft was predeceased by her husband, Charles Lewis Luft, Jr., her parents, Clement and Josephine (Rizzo) Zoda, her son, Thomas Charles Luft, her brothers, Alphonse and Francis Zoda,, and her sister, Theresa Zoda. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Susan and Michael Pustay; her daughter and son-in-law; Janis Luft and Kirk Runner; her son; David Luft; and daughter-in-law; Karen Luft; her step-son; Alan M. Luft; of Chicago, IL; her granddaughters; Emily; Casey; Haley; Jamie and Vivian; and her grandsons; Josh; Matt; Ben; Nathan and Jack.
Funeral services for Mrs. Luft will begin on Saturday (Dec. 22) at 10 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of St. Gregory the Great RC Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square.Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum, Hamilton, NJ. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday from 8-10 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
