TRENTON - Sandra Delores Rogers, daughter of Nancy Rogers and the late Murray Rogers.
She was born on December 1, 1963 in Dillon, S.C. In March 1964 Sandra (Lois) moved to Trenton. Sandra departed this life on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Trenton. Sandra was educated in the Trenton public school system. Sandra was self-employed up until the time of her disability in 2011. Sandra enjoyed a life filled with dancing, listening to music, joking and laughing with her friends.
Sandra (Lois) leaves to cherish precious memories her two sisters, Esther Rogers-Page and Annie Rogers; two brothers, Charles Rogers and Calvin Rogers; eight nieces, Ericka (Monique), Kamisha, Tiffany, Carmella, Tangela, Khadijah, Precious and Brenda; six grandnephews and two grandnieces, one uncle Vernon Thompson (Dorothy) (N.J.) Claire Williams (N.C.); Sandra's special cousins, Andrea Davis and Nyasia Bratcher; and Sandra's extended family the Thomas Family of Carteret Avenue. Sandra also had four devoted friends, Sharon Thomas, Jane White, Priscilla Coleman and Sue Robinson. Additionally, Sandra leaves her godmother, Martha Stroman; and a host of other cousins and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 23, at 11 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, 111 Perry St., Trenton. Interment Ewing Cemetery, Ewing. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church.
