Obituary Condolences

Sennie Jane Keith Cadlett, 84, departed this life on July 9, 2013 at Hospice of Wake County, Raleigh, NC.
Born in Durham, NC, she began her education in the public schools and continued her education in Trenton when she relocated in 1951. She went to nursing school in Philadelphia while working nights at Lower Bucks Hospital until she received her LPN license. She received her Cosmetology license from Craig Beauty School in 1961 and a teacher's license in cosmetology from Levittown Beauty Academy. She moved from Trenton to Levittown, PA in 1966 where she worked nights at Lower Bucks Hospital and took computer classes at Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA.
She worked at Rider College, Switlik Parachute Co., Horn and Hardart Restaurant, Mercer Street Friends Center and several agencies in Mercer and Bucks County: Medical Personnel Pool, People Care Health Services, Morris Hall Nursing Home, St. Joseph Nursing Home and Bayada Home Health to name a few. Sennie was the owner and operator of Sennie's Beauty Salon in Morrisville PA and Farmingdale, NJ.
She joined the Friendship Baptist Church in May 1955 and helped start the Nurses Unit and joined the Missionary Society. She remained a faithful member until her health wouldn't allow her to travel from Levittown to Trenton. She then joined Community Baptist Church in Bristol in 2005. She later moved to Youngsville, NC to be with her son and daughter-in-law.
Predeceased by her husband, Joseph Cadlett, two sons, Andrew Lee Cadlett and Billy Joe Cadlett, her parents, Ernest and Lattie Keith and two sisters, Sadie Peace and Annie Wilkins, she is survived by her youngest son; Alvin Cadlett and wife; Yolanda; of Youngsville, NC; her sister; Verta Haskins; of Durham NC; brother-in-law; Donald McGhee; of Ewing; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday (July 18) at 11 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, 111 Perry St. Pastor John R. Taylor, officiating. Calling hours from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing Township, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607. www.hospiceofwake.org.
