Obituary Condolences

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Thomas R. "Pancho" Ciosek Sr., 73, of Myrtle Beach, passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born May 9, 1939 in Trenton, N.J., son of the late John J. and Victoria Bielak Ciosek. In addition to his parents he was also predeceased by his brother, Joseph J. Ciosek and his sister, Regina (Virginia) Michon.
He retired as building supervisor for the City of Trenton, Department of Public Works after 35 years of service. Pancho moved to Bonita Springs, Fla. in 1991 and then made his home in Myrtle Beach in 1996. Tom enjoyed sports and especially coaching his sons' baseball and soccer teams. Also, he enjoyed traveling, internationally and domestically, and dining out with his wife and friends. He was active and coached teams for the Hibernians and West End Soccer Club. He was a member of the Trenton Polish-American Democratic Club, and a past member of the Hamilton Elks, BPOE Lodge 2262. Tom was a member of the Moose Lodge 2351, Surfside Chapter in South Carolina and a parishioner of St. Michael's Church in Garden City, S.C.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Teresa Hrabchak Ciosek; two sons, Thomas R. Ciosek Jr. and Theodore J. Ciosek both of New Egypt, N.J.; his brother, Edward Ciosek of Browns Mills, N.J.; three sisters-in-law, Theresa Ciosek of Lawrenceville, N.J., Susan Knudtson of Murreils Inlet, S.C., Margaret Hrabchak of Morrisville, Pa.; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Hedwig's Church, 872 Brunswick Ave., Trenton, N.J., with the Rev. Fr. Jacek W. Labinski presiding. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Hamilton, N.J.. Calling hours are from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at the Winowicz Funeral Chapel, 865 Brunswick Ave., North Trenton, N.J.
