TRENTON - Tré Devon Lane, 19, died on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at Capital Health Regional Medical Center.
Born in Trenton, and a lifelong resident, he was a graduate of Trenton Central High School, class of 2011. He continued his education at Mercer County Community College, West Windsor Campus.
Tré was a member of Little Light True Gospel Church where he sang with the choir and was the church drummer.
He is survived by his parents, Regina Thompson-Jenkins (John, Jr.) of Trenton and William K. Lane, Sr. of Willingboro; five brothers, William K., Jr. of Trenton, Bill and Kaseem W. Lane, both of Hamilton and Terrell and Derrell Lane, both of Cinnaminson; one sister, Nicole Lane of Bensalem, Pa.; one step-sister, Tashawna Jenkins of Lumberton; two step-brothers, John Jenkins, III of Trenton and Marquis H. Lane of Hamilton; maternal grandparents, Barbara and Tommy Thompson, Jr. of Trenton; paternal grandparents, Pearl and William Lane, Sr. of Trenton; his great-grandmother, Mercy Thompson of Trenton; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 150 N. Clinton Ave., Trenton. Pastor T. Llewellyn Steele will be officiating. Calling hours are from 9 a.m. until time of services at the church. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton Township. Arrangements are by Anderson Funeral Service, Trenton.
