Vanessa A. Blackstone-St. Julien, affectionately known as "Van," departed this life peacefully on Wednesday June 6, 2013, at home.
Born in Trenton, N.J., Van was educated in the Trenton school system and graduated from Trenton Central High School. After graduating Van joined the Army Reserve and served for four years and received an honorable discharge. Van was employed by the Ann Klein Forensic Medical Center for the past 22 years.
Predeceased by her father, Richard Blackstone, and a brother, Jamel, surviving are her mother, Arlene Blackstone; her son, Chauncey St. Julien (Angela) of Willingboro, N.J.; paternal grandmother, Mildred Blackstone of Willingboro, N.J.; two grandchildren, Jaylen and Selah; four brothers, Tyrone (Diane), Clevester, Terrence and Markeith; four sisters, Tonya, Melissa, Veronica and Crystal; one goddaughter, Nitira Bazemore; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Vanessa will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Chapel, 1225 Calhoun St., Trenton, N.J. Interment will be in Ewing Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the chapel.
