Vincent "Jimmy" DiPierro EWING TWP. - Vincent "Jimmy" DiPierro, age 82, of Ewing Twp., passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Capital Health Medical Center Hopewell surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton and a lifelong area resident Vincent was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and had received the Korean Service Medal, the U.S. Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. He retired from American Standard where he worked for 35 years as a Pottery Selector. Vincent had a wonderful sense of humor, loved talking about sports and his days stationed in Japan, listening to Frank Sinatra, fresh water fishing, trips to Atlantic City, gardening, cooking, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with his family. He also looked forward to sitting on the porch talking with his good friend Fred Davis. Predeceased by his parents, Giacomo and Maria Valente DiPierro, siblings, Mary Mariconi, Betty Hollingsworth, Nicholas, Marino, Anthony, Gino, and twin brother Frank DiPierro, his loving wife of 30 years, Caroline Seifert DiPierro, and granddaughter Gina Marie Brown. Left to cherish his wonderful memory are his son and daughter-in-law Frank and Toni Manfredi of Hamilton, 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Ronald Brown of Browns Mills, and Donna and Greg Bezek of Yardville, 7 grandchildren, Ronald and Vincent Brown, Frank, Brian, and Marc Manfredi, and Garrett and Victoria Bezek, a great grandson Christian Brown, a sister-in-law and brother-in-law Ruth and Chris Sletvold of Hamilton and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 28, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at the Hartmann Memorial Home 2830 Nottingham Way. Calling hours will be Friday, March 28, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. till time of the service at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
