HAMILTON - Virginia Clare Bellina, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 15, 2013, with her husband by her side.|
Virginia was born in Newark, to the late George A. and Mary McWatters Barry. She was raised and educated in Harrison. She worked for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in New York City, New Jersey Bell in Newark, and retired from the State of New Jersey, Department of Labor and Industry after 25 years of service.
She was predeceased by her sister, Mary C. Nienstadt, and her brother, George B. Barry. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of nearly 60 years, Joseph A. Bellina; and her devoted children, Michele (Martin) Gidansky and Joseph B. (Linda) Bellina. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and -nephews.
The funeral will begin at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, from Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St., Hamilton. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, 555 Yardville Allentown Road, Yardville. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Allentown. Relatives and friends of the family may call on Tuesday, June 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
