Obituary Condolences

TRENTON - Wade H. Johnson, 87, of Trenton, died December 2, 2012, at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Hopewell.
Born in Garysburg, N.C., Mr. Johnson had been a resident of Trenton since 1946. He was an honorably discharged U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was employed by Federated Metals for more than 40 years and the Trane Company for 10 years.
He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church where he served as a trustee and on the male chorus at church.
Predeceased by his parents, Sandy R. and Lillian M. Johnson, his wife, Alice Blount Johnson, a sister, Clotilda Davis and a brother, William Johnson, surviving are his wife, Lola M. Johnson; sons, Sandy (Barbara), Cyrus (Gail) and David (Frances) Johnson; daughters, Bonita Ashford, Jacqueline Johnson and Patricia (Howard) Hyshaw; grandchildren, Anthony (Danielle), Cyrus Jr. (Tara), David, Ann Margaret, Terrance, Alicia and Andre Johnson, Tylyn and Christy Hyshaw and Jessica (Darius) Barker; great-grandchildren, A. Wade Hyshaw Raquan McRae, Mia Johnson and Arnold Johnson; two stepchildren, Harold (Evelyn) Gregory and Alfreda (Ron) Kirkland; three step-grandchildren, Artaia Robeson, Latricia Isaac and Kyrel Gregory; a brother, James (Ammer) Johnson; two sisters, Mildred (Ernest) Wormley and Helen Howlett; an uncle, Moses King; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at New Salem Baptist Church, 316 Union St. Trenton. Entombment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Calling hours will be Saturday from 8 to 10 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are by the Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
