ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Willie Frank Brown, Jr. transitioned this life on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at his home in Rochester.
Frank was born on Nov. 23, 1947, in Trenton, N.J. He attended the Trenton public school system and was a graduate of Trenton Central High School. Frank immediately entered the United States Air Force where he became an electrical engineer. He later moved to Rochester, and was a retiree of the Rochester City School District. He was the proprietor/manager of the Pinella Real Estate Company, Rochester. Frank was a member of King David Lodge No.15, Prince Hall Affiliated, Ophir Consistory No.48 and Khufu Temple No. 120.
Predeceased by his parents, Willie Frank Brown, Sr. and Marjorie Davis Brown, and a brother, Marvin Charles Brown, Frank leaves to cherish his memory his beloved and devoted wife, Ann Pinella Brown; three children, Willie Frank Brown, III (Lisa) of Trenton, N.J., Eric Dwayne Brown (Alejandra) of Carrollton, Texas, Troy Elliott Brown (Tanya) of Ewing, N.J.; three siblings, Prudence Hope Wade (Reverend Dr. Robert C. Wade) of Florence, N.J., Rowena Robin Brown and Travis Mark Brown of Ewing, N.J.; and a host of relatives and friends.
Private services were held in Rochester. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 340 Reverend S. Howard Woodson, Jr. Way, Trenton NJ, 08618. The Reverend Darrell L. Armstrong, pastor, officiating. Calling hours are from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Entombment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Hamilton. N.J. Local arrangements are by Anderson Funeral Service, Trenton, N.J.
