Joseph DeMarco TRENTON - Joseph DeMarco, 93, of Trenton, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a life-long Trenton area resident. Mr. DeMarco was a US Army Veteran of World War II. He retired after twenty-five years from the New Jersey Department of Defense, Eggers Crossing Road, Lawrenceville, NJ. Son of the late Joseph and Mary Dotino DeMarco; husband of the late Yolanda L. "Cookie" Angelico DeMarco; brother of the late Carl, John, Anthony, Domenick, and Frank DeMarco, Philomena Yannerella, Rose Margiotta, Victoria Nemeth, Katherine Scaringelli, and Marie Pollacco; he is survived by a son, Joseph F. DeMarco, with whom he resided; a daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and Edward Holland; a sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and Michael Yannerella; a granddaughter, Dara Marie Holland; sisters-in-law, Anna and Marie DeMarco, and Katherine Bogaard; brothers-in-law, Joseph Pollaco and Umile Angelico; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends. The funeral will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. from the Brenna Funeral Home 340 Hamilton Avenue, Trenton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Parish/Immaculate Conception Church, 540 Chestnut Avenue, Trenton. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton. Calling hours will be on Thursday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Brenna Funeral Home.
