Walter J. Hertzman HAMILTON - Walter J. Hertzman, Sr., 87, of Hamilton passed away Thursday at home. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. A Graduate of Trenton High School, Walt was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He retired as a foreman after 38 years of service with General Motors, Trenton. He was a member of American Legion Post # 313, Hamilton, Hamilton Elks Post # 2262, and was an avid fisherman and coin collector. Son of the late Fred and Frieda Birkholz Hertzman, father of the late Karen Hertzman, grandfather of the late Ian Allen and great-grandfather of the late Mason David Piccinetti, he is survived by his stepson Ronald Sohl of Pompano Beach, FL, his sons and daughters-in-law Daniel and Peggy Hertzman of Naples, FL and Walter, Jr. and Sharon Hertzman of Hamilton, his grandchildren Melissa Gonzales, Ronald Sohl, Jr., Amy Marlowe and husband Scott, Matthew, Michael and Anna Hertzman, Sabrina Allen, Rachel Piccinetti and husband David, Stacey Petonic and husband John and Terry Lynn Pogorzelski and husband Gregory, his great-grandchildren Megan Auge, Alyssa Bailey and Kendall Piccinetti, with whom he resided, and 10 additional great-grandchildren, his sister Thelma Ranieri of Hamilton and several nieces and nephews. Cremation and interment of cremated remains in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton will be private. Relatives and friends may pay their condolences to Walt's family on Monday evening from 6 to 8 PM at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton ( In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Walt's honor to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
