Clinton B. Pugh WHITING - Clinton B. Pugh 90 of Whiting formerly a longtime resident of Hamilton passed away May 18, 2014 at Meridian Nursing and Rehab in Brick, NJ. Was known by nicknames, Red, Jughead and Cookee He is predeceaced by his parents, Frank & Agnes Pugh Wife, Ellen Pugh Brother, Kenneth Pugh Twin sons, Clinton Bradis and Bradis Clinton Pugh his best friend Paul Wiener He leaves behind celebrating his new life with Jesus, Daughter he adopted at age 4, Rev. Susan Ellen Wooden and husband Fred, Their children Jeff and Erin Wooden and Jane, Jason and Sarah Daughter, Lucinda Pugh Burgess also his caregiver that he moved in with in 2007 and grand dog Gizmo Daughters, Barbara (BJ) Pugh and Allison Squires. Also his dear friend Magda Wiener He served his country in the US Navy during WWII and Korea and was 6 years a head cook on the USS Irwin He drove an 18 Wheeler for over 50 years first for K-Tex in Yardville then Coca Cola Foods in Hightstown. He was then a driver for car parts wharehouse between Philadelphia and Trenton. A lifetime member of the German American Society and supporter of GAK Soccer He and his late wife ran the Bar for 6 years. Funeral services and military honors will be 1:30pm Friday at BGWCD Veterans Cemetery, Provinceline Road, Arneytown. Arrangements are by Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, there are no calling hours at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made tot the Popcorn Park Zoo, 1 2nd Ave, Forked River NJ 08731
