HAMILTON - Dolores L. Schillace Henry, 85, of Hamilton Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton, in Hamilton Township.
Born in Trenton, she resided in Yardley, Pa., for 40 years, and for the past 14 in Hamilton. Mrs. Henry retired in 1991 after 17 years from the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender, Trenton. After her retirement she along with her late husband John owned and operated John Henry's Seafood Restaurant, Trenton, for over 25 years until 2009. She loved being with her children and grandchildren on vacation and cherished dinners and time spent with her loving family.
Daughter of the late Louis and Anna Petruccio Schillace, beloved wife of the late John F. Henry, grandmother of her beloved grandson in heaven, Anthony Henry, she is survived by his three sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Annie Henry of Robbinsville, Gerald M. Henry of Hamilton, and John Michael and Catherine Henry of Yardville; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois and Justin Diefenbach and Jean and Richard McGuire; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, William and Lorraine Henry; and six grandchildren, Amanda Schafer McDonald, John Paul, Michele, Michael and Nina Henry; a great-grandson, Brayden McDonald; four nephews, Michael and Ronald Henry, Joseph Diefenbach and Joseph McGuire; two nieces, Stacy Mitchell and Lesley Mazza; and many other extended family and caring friends.
The funeral will be held on Monday, June 30, at 10:15 a.m. from the Brenna Funeral Home, 340 Hamilton Avenue, Trenton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 30, at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of the Angels Parish/Saint Joachim's Church 20-55 Butler Street, Trenton. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum, Garden of Saint Mary's of the Assumption, Hamilton Township.Calling hours for family and friends will be held on Monday morning from 7:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., at the Brenna Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
