Anthony A. Zuno HAMILTON TWP. - Anthony A. Zuno, age 88, of Hamilton Twp., died July 14th, 2014 in the Compassionate Care Hospice Unit, St. Francis Medical Center. Born in Yardley PA., Anthony was a lifelong area resident. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII serving on the USS Missouri (Mighty Mo) where he witnessed the ceremony and signing of the instrument of surrender of the Empire of Japan, which formalized the end of WWII. Anthony retired from General Motors Fisher Body Division in Ewing Twp., after 39 years as a Job Setter, was a 4th Degree Knight Bishop Griffin General Assembly, and a member of the American Legion Post 1000. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Maria Gervasio Zuno, siblings Neil and Thomas Zuno, Anna Santitoro, Olympia Badessa and Angela Eppolito, his son-in-law Richard Pizzuti, he is survived by his wife of 47 years Virginia Smith Fornal Zuno, a son and spouse Walter and MaryAnn Fornal, and a daughter Robin Pizzuti all of Hamilton Twp., a brother and sister-in-law August and Gail Zuno of Holland PA, 2 grandchildren and spouses, Dr. Jill Young and spouse Dr. Kristopher Young, and David Fornal Esq. and spouse Lauren Fornal, 6 great grandchildren Sydney, Jenna, Ryan, Andrew, Michael, and Patrick, and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 18, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. in St. Raphael's Church. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum Hamilton Twp. Calling hours are Friday morning, July 18, 2014, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Hartmann Memorial Home 2830 Nottingham Way.
