William Henry Carothers Sr. Obituary
IMLAYSTOWN - William Henry Carothers Sr., 69, of Imlaystown, passed away at his residence on Thursday, July 31, 2014.
Born in Trenton, Mr. Carothers was a lifelong area resident. He served his country in the U.S. Army Reserve. Mr. Carothers owned his own auto repair shop, C&K Garage in Hamilton. Mr. Carothers was also a volunteer deputy with the Conservation Office, for the State of New Jersey.
He was predeceased by his parents, LeRoy and Elsie Carothers, his wife, Elizabeth, in 2013, and a brother, LeRoy III; he is survived by his daughter, Shelley Stroehlein and her husband Robert of New Egypt; his son, William Henry Carothers Jr. and his wife Nicole of Rhode Island; his grandchildren, Matthew and William Carothers and Robert Stroehlein Jr.; his brothers, Robert and his wife Carol, David and his wife Barbara, his sister-in-law, Rosalie, and a sister, Mildred Van Morter.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 6, at 10 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square.
Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 5, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
