Frank J. Morello Obituary
Frank J. Morello TITUSVILLE - Frank (Frankie) J. Morello, 59, of Titusville, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 15, 2014 at Capital Health Medical Center of Hopewell, surrounded by his loving family. Frankie graduated from Hopewell Valley Central High School and later earned his MBA at Rider University. He had a great career working for Verizon, starting as a part-time kiosk salesman and retiring from a management position. After retirement, he taught business classes at Coastal Carolina University to keep his brain stimulated (and not to mention, to challenge his students). Frankie was an avid deer and duck hunter. When he wasn't sitting in a tree stand, he was sitting in a blind with his companion Ozzie. When hunting season was over, he switched to his other passion: gardening. And when he picked the fruits of his labor...the cooking started...never went to culinary school but oh what a meal he could whip up! Whether it was cooking, hunting for his trophy kill (last year), sitting quietly in a duck blind, or plowing and planting, he always did everything 100%. He was a lifetime member of Ducks Unlimited and former member and past president of Clover Rod & Gun Club. Preceded in death by his father, Louis J. Morello, he is survived by his mother, Marie J. Morello, brother James Morello and partner, Patti Ann Ridgway, his sister Caroline Gregorovic and her husband Jim, niece Karli Horn and her husband John, nephew Louis W. Morello and many close relatives and friends. Also survived by his yellow lab, Ozzie; who was always by his side. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Wilson Apple Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Rd., Pennington, Pennington, NJ 08534 with remembrances at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Frank's memory to: , PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 or Ducks Unlimited, Inc., Memorial Contributions, One Waterfowl Way, Memphis, TN 38120.
