Obituary Condolences

EWING - Dominick J. Rocco Sr., 76, passed into God's loving hands on Monday Oct. 18, 2010.
Born in Johnstown, Pa., Mr. Rocco had lived in Ewing Township for the past 57 years. Mr. Rocco was a supervisor with the Goodall Rubber Co. and went on to retire from the Ewing Township Road Department after many years of service.
Mr. Rocco was a member of the Amici Della Lingua Italiana Club; Italian American Hall of Fame; Mercer County Italian American Festival; Knights of Columbus No. 355; Trenton/Ewing BPOE No. 105, where he served on the executive board for five years and the Elks special children committee; 112th Field Artillery Association; Ewing Twp. F.O.P. No. 83; Frontier Hunting Club; Our Lady of the Angels-St. Joachim's Senior Citizens Club and the Ewing Township Live Wires Senior Citizen Club.
He loved to hunt and fish, especially with his nephew Joey Rader.
Son of the late Samuel and Susie Rocco, father of his beloved children, the late Susanne M. Rocco and Dominick J. Rocco Jr., brother of the late Frances Squeo, Anthony and Joseph Rocco, he is survived by his wife of 59 years, Frances Santitoro Rocco; his sisters, Josephine Deshner of Johnston, Pa. and Rose Crupi of St. Cloud, Fla.; brother-in-law, the Rev. Frank Santitoro of Toms River; sisters-in-law, Sister Raffaela Santitoro, MPF of West Trenton, Marie Santitoro, Ann and her husband, Andre Vispetti and Lucy Pavlov of Allentown; and many nieces and nephews in New Jersey and California.
The family would like to thank his special friends, Chuck Heenan, Keith Schalski and William Haer.
The funeral will be at 8:45 a.m. Saturday from the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. by Fr. Frank Santitoro at St. Joachim's Church, 25 Bayard St., Trenton. Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home are from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday with the Ewing BPOE service at 7 p.m. Additional calling hours are from 8 to time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
