Obituary Condolences

EWING - Jesse Lee Grier Jr., 55, of Ewing Township, crossed over on Jan. 4, 2011, at Capital Health at Mercer.
Born in Princeton, Jesse was a lifelong resident of Ewing and Trenton. He was educated in the Ewing Township school system and attended Delaware State University. He was a human service technician at Trenton Psychiatric Hospital. He was also employed by ShopRite in Mercerville and Pennington for over 11 years. He was the happy delivery man for Scott Taylor Pharmacy. Jesse had a great sense of humor and if he called you a friend you know you had a good friend.
Predeceased by his mother, Sophia Wormley Grier, he is survived by his father, Deacon Jesse Grier Sr.; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Barbara Jean Winckler (Wayne), Debora Ann Grier; one brother, David Grier; one niece, Jaelyn Sophia Grier; a special nephew who was his caregiver, Troy Ellison; godfather, Deacon John Smith; a special godsister, Johnetta Adams; a godson, Harold Jones III; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 8) at St. John Baptist Church, 70 Oregon Ave., Ewing. Interment in Ewing Cemetery, Ewing. Calling hours will be from 9 a.m. until time of services at the church. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home.
