Shaneice Nicole Brittingham was born in Trenton, N.J., on Nov. 3, 1988. She departed this life on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J., following a courageous battle with cancer.
Shaneice obtained her associate degree from Mercer County Community College and a bachelor's degree from Rutgers University while fighting cancer.
She also founded The Fight4Life Cancer Foundation and she designed a T-shirt that displayed her trademark slogan, ""If Cancer couldn't beat me, what makes you think you can."" In the midst of it all, she never complained and kept that beautiful smile on her face.
Shaneice is survived by her mother, Susan Brittingham, father, Ronald Brittingham (Kimberly), two sisters, Tyhera Brittingham and Aaliyah Brittingham, one brother, Ronald S. Brittingham, her maternal grandparents, Stanley and Joyce Brown, Carl Moreland (Eleanor), maternal great-grandmother, Mary Moreland Brown, paternal grandparents, Richard and Helena Bethea, paternal grandfather, Isaac Brittingham, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday (June 20) at Kingdom Church, 200 Ludlow Dr., Ewing Township, N.J. Calling hours are from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Interment: Greenwood Cemetery.
