Obituary Condolences

TRENTON - Irene Margaret Holloway, 91, of Trenton, passed away peacefully on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at Water's Edge Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Holloway worked for many years at Magic Marker in Trenton and Bordentown. She was very involved in the Jehovah's Witnesses belief who pioneered many events and gatherings and believed in door to door ministry to reach out to people.
Irene was predeceased by her parents, her father, Steven Gilhooley and her mother and stepfather, Alice (Hawkins) and George Swope, her husband, John K. Holloway, and former husband, Walter B. Kosul and brother, Frank Gilhooley, both who died while serving our country in World War II.
Left to cherish Mrs. Irene M. Holloway's wonderful memory are her sons, Walter G. Kosul (Theresa) from New Jersey and John A. Holloway (Nancy) of Tennessee, her beautiful grandchildren, Renee Monday (Andrew), Susan Farrington (Paul), Deborah Reed (Darin), Kelley Holloway (Corey), and John Holloway (Sarah), her loving great-grandchildren, Nathan, Justin, Josh, Timothy, Philip and Alexis. She is also survived by her best friends from Kingdom Hall and South Village, Christine Jones and Pauline Guba, and her friends from Browns Mills, Clarence and Bea Ledue, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives who will miss her deeply.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, 2 p.m. at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 117 Oakland St., Trenton, NJ 08618. Pasquale Pratico will be officiating the services.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall at the address listed above. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and coordination of The Chiacchio Southview Funeral Home, 990 S. Broad St., South Trenton.
