Due to Hurricane Sandy the funeral has been rescheduled to the following days and times: TRENTON -The funeral of Anthony Persichilli, 59, of Trenton, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012. A Rite of Reception will be held at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angel's Parish/Saint Joachim's Church, 20-50 Butler St., Trenton. Visitation will follow at the church from 9:45 until 10:45 a.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial of cremains will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton. TRENTON - Anthony Persichilli, 59, of Trenton,died on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Francis Medical Center, Trenton.
Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a life-long Trenton area resident. Mr. Persichilli was employed by Alexander's Pharmacy, Hamilton Township for the past two years. He was formerly employed by the Trenton Times and the Trentonian Newspapers, both of Trenton.
Son of the late Joseph J. Persichilli, he is survived by his mother; Lucy Cavallaro Persichilli; his brothers and a sister-in-law; Alex and Gail Persichilli; of Riverside, and Paul Persichilli; of Bristol, PA; a sister and brother-in-law; Ann and Keith Padderatz; of Yardville, and several nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; two aunts; an uncle; cousins; and friends.
A Rite of Reception will be held on Monday (Oct. 29) at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angel's Parish/Saint Joachim's Church, 20-50 Butler Street, Trenton. Visitation will follow at the church from 9:45 until 10:45 a.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial of Cremains will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Our Lady of the Angel's Parish/Saint Joachim's Church, 21-23 Bayard Street, Trenton, New Jersey 08611. Or to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
