Annie Doris Copeland, 72, died peacefully on Nov. 9, 2012, at Clare Bridge of Westhampton, Alzheimer's and Dementia Care.

She was born in Nutbush Township, N.C., after graduating in 1958 from Warren County Training School in North Carolina, she moved to Ewing Township, N.J. Doris started her career with the State Of New Jersey, Department of Labor and Industry. She later worked as a bookkeeper for various companies including American Express in Lawrence Township and the Johnson Atelier of Mercerville and Goebel Industries known for their Hummel figurines.
Predeceased by her parents, William Hendrick and Mary Evans Hendrick, she is survived by her loving husband, Donald Copeland of Columbus, N.J.; two adoring children, Darron Copeland of Stamford, Conn. and Dana Copeland of Columbus; two sisters, Mildred Russell of Ewing and Carrie Hill of Durham, N.C.; two brothers, William Hendrick of Dover, Del. and Carl Hendrick of Texas; three grandchildren, Bryce, Demi and Asa; two sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services will Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at noon at Campbell Funeral Chapel, 1225 Calhoun St., Trenton, N.J. Interment will be in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, N.J. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m .to noon at the chapel.

The family will also be receiving visitors on Saturday Nov. 17, 2012, at the home of Darron Copeland of 1895 Long Ridge Road, Stamford, Conn. from 4 to 8 pm.
