TRENTON - Addie Pearl Mims, 73, died peacefully on Saturday, November 10, 2012, with her family by her side.
Born and educated in Autaugaville, ALa., Mrs. Addie later relocated to Trenton, New Jersey. Mrs. Addie was a homemaker, and loving mother and grandmother who took pride in taking care of her family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Eugene Stoudermire, her husband, Arthur Harris, two daughters, Patricia Mims and Rosa Stoudermire. Surviving are a three daughters, Brenda Mims of Alabama, Tonia Ferguson (Damion), Nicole Mims (Robert) all of Trenton; three sons, Nathaniel Sessons (Jackie), Gary Williams (Ariel), Andre West-Mims (Tiffany), all of Trenton; one sister, Roberta Wilson of Southern N.J.; two brothers, Eddie Motley of Trenton, and Robert Stoudermire of Alabama; grandchildren, Marquis, Corey, Wayne, Devonta, Quashawn, Khadijah, Kileem, Rajon, Romena, Cheicka, Lil Gary, Teddy, Samuel, Kenny, Ariel, Lil Nate, Jacoby, Anthony, Tiffany, Melinda, Pam, Bernie, Wanda; 25 great-grandchildren; two best friends, Barbara (Barbie Doll) Davis and Sadie Wright, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, loving friends and extended family (South Trenton) and Kingsbury Family.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 16, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Chapel, 1225 Calhoun St., Trenton. Interment will be in Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton. Calling hours will be Friday from noon to 1 pm at the chapel.
