Margaret "Maggie" Hudzik

Obituary Condolences

Margaret "Maggie" Hudzik, 90, died Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Trenton, she lived here all of her life.
Maggie was the co-owner of Cinderella's Beauty Shop in Trenton, and later worked for Lenox, Westinghouse, and retired from Carter Wallace in Cranbury. She was an active parishioner of St. Raphael - Holy Angels Parish in Trenton where she was a member of its Holy Angels Church Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Catholic War Veterans Post 417 in Trenton. Maggie loved to sew and crotchet, making many articles of clothing, but she cherished most of all, spending time with her granddaughter, Christina.
Maggie was the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Mitro) Kerecman, wife of the late, Joseph Hudzik, and sister of the late, Albert, John, Joseph and Michael Kerecman. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Gregory and Donna Hudzik; her son; Thomas Hudzik; her daughter and son-in-law; Patricia and Frank Ciancaretti; her daughter and fiancé; Kathleen Hudzik; and Lee Millard, her daughter; Dorothy Hudzik; her granddaughter and husband; Christina and Anthony DiMeglio; her sister; Elizabeth "Betty" Bognar; and her sister-in-law; Evelyn Popovich; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will begin Saturday (Dec. 22) at 9:30 a.m. at Kutch Funeral Home, 215 Grand St, Trenton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. at Holy Angels Church, 1717 S. Broad St., Hamilton. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery #2 in Hamilton.
Relatives and friends may share their condolences with the family on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
