HAMILTON - Stanley R. Klek, Sr., 74, of Hamilton died Sunday at St. Francis Medical Center.
Born in Trenton Mr. Klek was a lifelong Trenton and Hamilton resident. He was a U.S.
veteran who served during the
era with the New Jersey Army National Guad, 50th Armored Artillery Division. He retired in 1994 after 35 years service with the State of New Jersey, State House, in the Office of Legislative Affairs. Stanley was an avid New York Yankees baseball and New York Giants football fan. He enjoyed spending quality time with his grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to share in and enjoy their games and activities. Around the Trenton and Hamilton area Little League baseball fields Stan was fondly known as "the Boss" by many he met.
Son of the late Frank and Mary Dudek Klek, husband of the late Geraldine T. Lysczak Klek, brother of the late Anthony, Joseph, Casimir, John, Edward and Frank Klek, Angela Klek and Sophia Morris, he is survived by his loving son and daughter-in-law, Stanley R., Jr. and Donna Klek of Hamilton; his twin grandchildren, Kristopher Klek and Kayla Klek; his sister and brother-in-law, Estelle and Robert Butcher of Ewing; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Winowicz Funeral Home, corner of Adeline and Beatty streets, Trenton. Interment will be private for the family in Greenwood Mausoleum. Calling hours will be from noon to 2 p.m., time of service, at the funeral home.
