Kathleen Marie Clark Sergeant,57, of Cream Ridge passed away suddenly February 10, 2013.
Born in Trenton, she grew up in Mercerville and lived in Cream Ridge for the past 33 years. She was a graduate of Steinert High School. Kathy had previously been employed by the Upper Freehold Municipality, the Federal Bankruptcy Court under Judge R. Hill, and the Department of Motor Vehicles until she stayed home to raise her children. Her children and family were her passion.
She was predeceased by her parents Beatrice Gorman Clark and Thomas J. Clark Sr, siblings Judith Blazek and Glenda Clark, John Clark, and her in laws William and Elizabeth Sergeant. Kathy is survived by her husband; Paul Sergeant; sons; Daniel Sergeant; of Portland, Oregon, and Matthew Sergeant; of Boonton, six brothers and spouses; Thomas J. Clark Jr. and Dolores Dilullo; of Willingboro, James and Kristine Clark; of Murrells Inlets SC, Timothy and Carolyn Clark; of Charleston SC, Donald and Carol Clark; of Miami Fl, Michael and Monica Clark; of Middletown, and David Clark and Karen Marino; of Pennington, a sister and brother in law; Ellen and Christopher Rankin; of Hamilton Square, two brothers in law and spouses; Mark and Judy Sergeant; of Hamilton and William and Patricia Sergeant; of Groveville and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends of the the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Monday (Feb. 18) at 11 a.m. in our Lady of Sorrows Church, Mercerville. Cremation and Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the family plot in St. John's Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hartmann Memorial Home 2830 Nottingham Way. In lieu flowers donations may be made to Eleventh Hour Rescue 861 Rte 10 East Randolph NJ 07869. A volunteer organization that Kathy and her family cared deeply about.
