Frederick F. Winkler of Lumberton passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013. He was 66. Born in Germany and raised in Pamona, he was a graduate of Oak Crest High School and Trenton State College. Mr. Winkler had also spent over six years of service in the Army National Guard.|
After college, he spent the beginning of his career as a social worker for the NJ Youth Correctional Facility and the NJ Division of Family Services. He later transitioned and retired as Chief of Facilities Management for the State of NJ and then became Operations Manager for AllState Office Interiors in Princeton after retiring from there in 2005. Frederick was also an active member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church and a dedicated volunteer for the parish St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Son of the late Helen and Frederick C. Winkler, he is survived by his devoted wife of over 35 years; Carolyn (nee Pasquariello); a loving son; Christopher Winkler (Gemma); of Marlton; a loving daughter; Dana Winkler; of Wyncote, PA; a sister; Barbara Weinbrecht (Joseph); of Earleville, MD; his mother-in-law; Louise Pasquariello; of Maple Shade; and his sister-in-law; Joanne Pasquariello; of Scarsdale, NY.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Monday (Mar. 4) at the Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 260 High St., Mt. Holly. Interment will be private. Friends and relatives may visit with the family Monday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mt. Holly. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 260 High St., Mt. Holly, NJ 08060 or Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
