COLUMBUS - Carmella Olynyk (nee DeVito), 83, of Columbus, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Hamiliton Continuing Care Center.
Forever loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. "Mom O" always had a smile, a meal and a kind word for everyone.
Beloved wife of the late Michael, loving mother of Michael Jr. (Peggy) Olynyk of Trenton, Joseph Olynyk (John Sahas) of California, Karen (Richard) Quinlan of Phoenix, and John (Lisa) Olynyk of Burlington; proud grandmother of Michael III (Lori) Olynyk, Shannon Aldi, Clint Moran, Christine (Adam) Wise, Cayla DeGeorge, Jonathan and Jenny Olynyk; four great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; dear sister-in-law of Anna S. DeVito, brothers-in-law, Jerome Migliaci, Bogdan, Andrew and Charles Olynyk. She will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 11 a.m. to noon at the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown, NJ 08505. A funeral service will follow at noon officiated by Pastor Bob Santilli. Interment to follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown.
