Mary A. Chianese Corvine, 92, of Trenton, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at home. |
Born in Trenton, she was a life-long Chambersburg and Trenton area resident.
Mary retired in 1992 after twenty years from the Trenton Board of Education. She was formerly employed at General Motors Corporation. Mary was a member of Our Lady of the Angels/Saint Joachim's Parish and tatted vestments for several area Catholic Priests. She was an avid New York Yankee fan.
Daughter of the late Nicola and Crestina DiGiuseppe Chianese, wife of the late Pasquale M. Corvine, Jr., mother of the late Pasquale Corvine, III, sister of the late Joseph and Ferdinand Chianese, and Eugenia Cannizzaro, she is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law; Nicholas F. and Cathy D. Corvine; of Northfield; four grandchildren and their spouses; Nicole and Todd Trembicky; Patrick and Ann Corvine; Nicholas and Michael Corvine; three great-grandchildren; Dominic Corvine; Maximus and Gianni Trembicky; a special nephew and his wife; Sam and Carol Cannizzaro; a daughter-in-law; Antoinette Bennett; and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral will be held on Monday (Apr. 29) at 10:30 a.m. from the Brenna Funeral Home, 340 Hamilton Avenue, Trenton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels/Saint Joachim's Church, 20-50 Butler Street, Trenton. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.
Calling hours for family and friends will be on Monday from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the Brenna Funeral Home.
