Joyce Eleanor Sanderson, 70, of Oviedo, Fla. and formerly of Columbus, N.J., passed away, Sunday, April 28, 2013, in Hagerstown, Md.|
Born Wednesday, Oct. 14, 1942, in Trenton, N.J., she was the daughter of the late William E. Rigby and the late Viola (Schaffer) Carson. She was employed with the State of New Jersey, Department of Environmental Protection for 29 years, retiring in 2006. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles R. Sanderson; daughters, Lori A. Sanderson, Linda Rose Moon and Cherri Pursell; sons, Wayne H. Sanderson and Richard L. Sanderson; sisters, Linda Bice Ewer, Barbara Driscoll, Monica Mahon, Maureen Kanka and Patricia Gates; brother, William A. Carson Jr.; and granddaughter, Anna Madeline Sanderson. She was preceded in death by sister, Joan Sikora.
