Ira Charles Obituary
Born in Hamilton, Ira was a graduate of Hamilton High School West in 2006 where he was an outstanding linebacker on their football team and a light-heavy weight wrestler; he attended Morgan State University and Mercer County Community College. Ira was employed at Pitt Ohio, and Macy's Department store, as well as owner of "Wave Chaserz Production Company".
Grandson of the late Samuel J. Charles, John D. and Helen L. Brown-McGee, Ira is survived by his parents; Carol McGee and Ira Charles Sr.; his siblings; Janeira; Jamaal; and Subria Charles; paternal grandmother; Amy Charles; aunts; uncles; cousins; friends and a god-daughter Keyonna.
Funeral service will be Monday (May 13) at 11 a.m. at St. Phillips Baptist Church 445 Parkinson Ave, Hamilton N.J. Interment will be at the Ewing Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Monday from 9-11 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
