LAWRENCE – Regina (Kaytus) Snedeker, 52, of Lawrenceville, passed away on May 17, 2013, at home, with her loving family at her side, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong resident of Lawrence Township. She graduated from Lawrence High School, class of 1979, and attended Mercer County Community College. Regina spent the past 27 years as a dedicated and loyal employee of Lenox Corporation, where she leaves behind many dear friends.
Regina was predeceased by her parents, Joseph A. and Mary (Bolino) Kaytus, and her brother, Joseph T. Kaytus.
Regina is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, David S. Snedeker; her precious daughters who brought more joy and pride to her life than anyone could imagine, Jessica Lynn Snedeker of Philadelphia, Pa. and Alexis Marie Snedeker of Lawrenceville: her loving sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Michael Driscoll of Hamilton Square, and her very special brother, Gregory Kaytus and his fiancée Lynne Brown of Mercerville; her dear mother-in-law, Alvena D. Snedeker of Lake Harmony, Pa., her loving surrogate mother, Angie Doswald of Bridgewater; her brother-in-law, Clifford W. Snedeker and wife Arlene; nieces Adrien Dickerson and Mary Snedeker of Alexandria, Va. and her niece and goddaughter, Nicole Kaytus of Dayton; and of course her devoted cat, Dusty.
Regina was a member of Saint Ann's Parish in Lawrenceville. She spent many years involved in the Delaware Raritan Girl Scouts, where she led an incredible group of young ladies. Regina loved to travel, especially to Disney World, Aruba, Wildwood and Juno Beach. She enjoyed Broadway shows in NYC, and her family vacations at the beach and in the Pocono mountains. And she was an avid scrapbooker, so that all these wonderful memories of trips and special occasions are left behind for all to enjoy.
