Obituary Condolences

Helen Tindik Hanusi, 95 of Hamilton,passed away in the early morning hours of Thursday, June 6, 2013. She died in her home with her son by her side.
Helen was a lifelong resident of Trenton. In her younger years, she worked for Dunham's and DiGuiseppi's Ladies Dress Shop. She also worked at her family's store, Tindik's Meat and Poultry on Home Avenue. Mrs. Helen Hanusi was best known for her real passion of being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. "Grams" cooked and cleaned her way into the hearts of many.
Helen is predeceased by her parents, John and Mary Tindik, her husband Gustov Hanusi, and her siblings Joseph Tindik, John Tindik Jr., Louis Tindik, and Anne Oros.
Left to cherish "Grams" beautiful memory is her loving son; John Hanusi; her beautiful granddaughters; Barbara Hanusi McNeill; Christine Hanusi Granaldi; and Michele Hanusi Toscano; her caring great-grandchildren; Matthew; Nicole; Megan; Danny; Amanda; and Josh; her loving sister; Julia Linzinbold; several nieces and nephews, and Jayne Karney, whom she regarded as a daughter. "Grams" lived a long and full life. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday (June 11) at 11 a.m. at The Chiacchio Southview Funeral Home, 990 South Broad Street (Rte 206), South Trenton, NJ 08611 (parking facility and handicap access located directed behind funeral home). Visiting hours will be held from 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday. Entombment: St. Mary's Mausoleum, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton Township, 08610.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to be made in her honor to St. Francis Compassionate Care Hospice Foundation, 11 Independence Way, Newark, Delaware, 19713.
Arrangements have been personally entrusted by Helen Tindik Hanusi to the care and coordination of David C. Chiacchio and staff.
