Eleanore "Bobbie" Vickery Marshall of Roebling, NJ. and Bradenton Fl. passed away on June 12, 2013 at home.|
Born on June 8, 1920, she was the wife of the late Col. George E. Marshall, mother-in-law of the late Ernest J. Adler, and grandmother of the late Susan A. Wriggins.
Bobbie loved to travel by car, boat, motor home and plane. She visited 48 states, many countries, and 4 continents. She and her husband enjoyed boating at the Jersey Shore, and camping down the east coast. She loved shopping and going out to eat. She worked with her family for many years at the family business – Marshall's Awnings in Trenton.
She is survived by her son; Fred C. Marshall and wife Pat; her daughter; Carol M. Adler; her grandchildren; Kimberly Morgan and husband Don; Christopher Adler and wife Cheryl; Patrick Marshall and wife Stephanie; and David Wriggins; great-grandchildren; Kimberly; Kaitlyn; Tatum; and Jarrod; a great-great grandson; Christopher. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held of Monday (June 17) at 2 p.m. in St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 31 W. 2nd St., Florence, NJ. Friends and family may call at the church from 1 p.m. until time of service.
There will be a celebration of "Bobbie's" life at her home in Roebling from 3pm to6pm.
