Obituary Condolences

EWING - James Victor Mazur, age 80, of Ewing (formerly of Old Bridge) died on July 1, 2013, in the company of his loving family following a heroic battle with congestive heart failure.
Jim was born in Jersey City to Mary and Frank Mazur, and graduated from Dickinson High School. He served as an Honor Guard in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955, and was married to Loretta Mazur, who predeceased him in 1987. Jim was also predeceased by his parents, and brothers, John and Robert.
Jim was a very outgoing person, with a big personality and quick humor. He was employed as a printing technician and salesman for JM Graphics Inc. He loved serving in St. Thomas Knights of Columbus No.4815 and served as Grand Knight and Faithful Navigator of the Fourth Degree. Jim loved polka music, Polish food and Strathmere Beach, and shared these loves with his family and friends. While raising his children in Old Bridge, Jim was instrumental in starting organized sports programs for Pop Warner football and Little League baseball.
Jim is survived by his beloved partner of 25 years, Margaret Falzini; his brother, Frank Mazur; four children, Mark Mazur, Michael Mazur and wife, Rory, Deborah Pinto and husband, Frank, and Judith Mazur; six grandchildren, Lauryn Lopez, Matthew Mazur, Anthony Pinto, Christopher Mazur, Alex Pinto and Allison Mazur; one great-grandchild, Liam Mazur; and many dear friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 6, from 8:30 until 10 a.m. at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing. Please visit for additional information. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 137 West Upper Ferry Road, W. Trenton, NJ 08628. Burial will follow in Ewing Church Cemetery.
