Richard L. Ferri BORDENTOWN CITY - Richard L. Ferri, 70, of Bordentown City, passed away on August 23, in the comfort of his home, his way. An area resident all his life, Richard was a graduate of Trenton High School. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and he devoted his life to his daughter, Marissa, son-in-law, Mark and his beloved granddaughters, Natalie and Chloe, he was their "Magdy". He had a great sense of humor, always quick with a response, and a colorful vocabulary. He always had nicknames for everyone as well, and he enjoyed buying his lottery tickets at 7-11, and shooting the breeze. His proudest accomplishments were watching his daughter graduate from college and become a successful teacher, and also the special bond that he shared with her. He is joining in Heaven his parents, Gabriele and Mary Martino Ferri, his beloved wife of 33 years Josephine Landgraf Ferri, his sisters Grace Ferri and Helen Kozlowski, and his brothers William, Hank, and Rudolph Ferri. He is survived by his loving daughter and son-in-law Marissa and Mark Crowell and his beloved granddaughters Natalie and Chloe, all of Bordentown Twp., his loving nieces and nephew Debbie Kozlowski Setlin of CA, Diane "Dee Dee" Kozlowski Alvarez of IA, Marina DeBold of Matawan, Tina Bogdanski of Wall Twp., and George Polites. Also his best friends Jess and Quayl Ceposki, and Joe and Jane Fresco. He is also survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Bette "Chut" White, and Rosalie "Roe Roe" and Denny Kramer, all of Bordentown Twp, two brothers Archie Ferri of FL, Pat Ferri of Philly, a sister-in-law Mary Ferri of Philly, and a brother and sister-in-law John and Anne Polites. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside committal service on Wednesday, August 28, at 11am, at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery, located on Cemetery Ln. in Bordentown. Father Michael Burns will officiate. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home. Arrangments by Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St., Hamilton 08610.
