Betty Jean Jackson TRENTON - Betty Jean Jackson, 76, of Trenton, departed this life September 19, 2013 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center - Fuld Campus. Born in Brooks County, GA, Betty was educated in the Pavo, GA Public School System. She was employed at Trenton Textile for 10 years, Coat Factory for 15 years, and Wal-Mart until her health began to fail. At an early age, she attended Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church in Pavo, GA. She later relocated to Trenton and became a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was a member of the Pastor's Aide until she became ill. Predeceased by her parents, Ular C. and Beatrice Burgess; her husband, Otis Jackson; a daughter, Martha Jean; two brothers, Ular C., Jr. and Gus; and a sister, Mary Lois Stewart. She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Robert L. Shy (Pansy) of Valdosta, GA and Waymon Jackson of Trenton, NJ; one daughter, Charlotte Arthur (Andre) of Trenton, NJ; a step-son, Otis Jackson of Moultric, GA; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Willie James Burgess (Betty) of Hartford, CT; four sisters, Jeanette Lee of Ewing, NJ, Leona Burgess, Ethlean Burgess, and Ola Mae Hayes all of Trenton, NJ; two aunts, Mary Thomas and Lilly Bell Giddens of West Palm Beach, FL; a goddaughter, Brandi Hayes; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including a special friend, Roy Cribbs and three close friends, Lois Mabrey, Shirley James, and Mr. and Mrs. Kings. Funeral Services will be Friday at 11am at Macedonia Baptist Church, 1300 Greenwood Avenue, Trenton, NJ. Interment will be in Ewing Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 9am to 11am at the church. Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
