Obituary Condolences

LAWRENCE - Clarence R. Brown Jr., 84, of Lawrenceville, entered into God's eternal care on Friday, November 1, 2013, at the Compassionate Care Hospice Unit at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Spring Lake, Clarence had resided in the Lawrence area most of his life. He owned and operated his own excavation company, C.R. Brown Jr., Inc. for 52 years. Clarence was a former member of the Elks B.P.O.E Lodge No. 2412. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved his family and his work.
He also enjoyed traveling with his wife and their good friends, Vince and Jennie Cutler.
Son of the late Clarence R. Brown Sr., and Marion (Newman) Brown, and brother of the late Dorothy Jones, he is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Victoria (Romano) Brown; his two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Dorothy Brown, Scott and Debbie Brown; his daughter, Lynne Brown; two grandsons, Dawson and Dominick Brown; a brother, Ralph Brown and his wife Dorothy; his sister, Florence Mannon; three brothers-in-law, Carl Romano and his wife Rose, Frank Romano, Joseph Romano and his wife Jean; two sisters-in-law, Marie Lombardo and Norma Roman; and many nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 6, at St. Michael's Church, 1130 Brunswick Ave., Trenton. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton. Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and again from 8 to 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638.
