Clifford B. Worthy Obituary
TRENTON - Clifford B. Worthy "Hong Kong" passed away May 18, 2014 in Trenton.
Born in Trenton he was a lifelong resident. He was educated in the Trenton public school system. Mr. Worthy was a fork lift operator at Coca-Cola. He was a member of the Wayne Avenue Baptist Church where he served as an usher.
Son of the late Anna Lou Redd and Guy Worthy, brother of the late Charles Worthy, Joseph Rhym and Onna Mae Rhym Jackson, Mr. Worthy is survived by his wife Joyann, children, Clifford Jr., Alysa, Ervin and Malcolm, six grandchildren, Daquane, Aimere, Timiyiah, Ethan, Yeshaim and Clifford III, three great-grandchildren, Dimya, Kamaryn and Zyion, sisters, Daisy Ruth Gaines, Ora Lee Rhym and Sara Flowers, three brothers, Ronald Rhym, Carl Worthy and Guy Worthy Jr., and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 29, at Wayne Avenue Baptist Church, 30 Wayne Ave., Trenton. Calling hours will be 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment Ewing Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
