Naquan Ellis Obituary
Born in Trenton, Naquan was a lifelong resident of the area. He attended Trenton public schools and worked at Capital Corridor Center, Dunkin' Donuts, the Toll Bridge Commission, Walmart and Rite Aid.
Naquan is survived by one son, Anthony Ellis; one daughter, NaZiyah Ellis; his mother, Shonte Ellis; his father, Eddie Thompson; stepfather, Abdul Nafai; five brothers, Hasn and Ahmed Nafai, Noah Hardy, Eddie Thompson Jr., and Dalton Ross Jr.; 11 sisters, Assonte and Shamon Ellis, Rasheeda, Aziannah, Kentrell and Natazia Thompson, Carly, Calista and Carolyn Fawcette; maternal grandparents, Mary Ellis and Clement Kidd; grandfather, Andre Robinson; six aunts, Betty James, Royette Laws, Nakia and Yvonne Thompson, Toi and Dwellyn Thompson; five uncles, John Florence Jr.; Benjamin, Robert, Jasper and Lavonza Thompson; two nieces, Amor and Dallas Ellis; three nephews, Dalton Ross III, Robert and Syncere Thompson; and a host of special cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Campbell Funeral Chapel, 1225 Calhoun Street, Trenton. Interment will be in Colonial Memorial Park. Calling hours will be from 9 to 10 a.m. at the chapel.
