TRENTON - William C. Brickers Jr., 71, departed this life on June 27, 2014 at home.
Born and raised in Trenton, he was educated in the Trenton Public School System. He later joined the
United States Air Force
and was honorably discharged. After serving his country, he was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 15 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Mabel and William C. Brickers Sr., and two sisters, Cecelia M. Ivey and Veronica Juanita Taylor. He is survived by his wife, Linda; his children, Simona L. Brickers, Darlene A. Smith (Christopher), Darnell L. Brickers, William C. Brickers III (Christina), Jimmy (Glenda), Edward, Tracy, and Mark; 10 grandchildren, one sister, Rosie (Alfred); and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Union Baptist Church, 301 Pennington Ave., Trenton. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
